The “biot” is a name and style of pottery which has been used since the 16th century. It is also an area in Provence-Alpes-Cote d’Azur near Cannes in the south of France. The shape of the French Pot makes it special, with the rim glazed and often dripping down its sides. Biot is known for its antique terracotta pots which can be seen along the French Cote d’Azur into the adjacent Italian area, Liguria. Eye of the Day has received some wonderful pieces of this style of French pottery. In addition, we have authentic reproductions from our factory in Anduze, France. We have various sizes of this wonderful pottery… come in to our showroom and take a look.

I live in Houston Tx and want to see about your biot pots. How much are you new ones with the blue glaze? And would you ship to me and how much? I know the old ones are much higher in price. How much would a 36″ high be priced? Thank you
Anna
