We feel pretty proud of ourselves. First: for their flagship Madison Avenue store, Tommy Bahama ordered Greek terra cotta pots, which we customized with a whitewash. Second: ABC Carpet and Home placed an order for custom light fixtures and a selection of pots for the Terre Colorate line fashioned from Italian Terra Cotta clay by San Rocco. Next: two fantastic Gladding McBean oil jars in cool, Caribbean blue were shipped to Ralph Lauren for their East Hampton Store.
As we handily gain exposure on the East Coast, Eye of the Day finds itself on the brink of opening our first pop-up store. The Stanford Shopping Center, adjacent to Stanford University will be the site for our emblematic pop-up. We will be taking our show on the road with a sprinkling of antique Greek Pithari, Anduze pottery from France, handmade Italian terra cotta, classic Greek pots and California’s own Gladding McBean planters, pots and oil jars. Stanford Shopping Center is among the most highly regarded shopping destinations in the country, with beautifully manicured garden spaces (right up our alley) complimenting stores such as Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Ralph Lauren and Tiffany and Co. This month-long event will take place June 14 – July 14. We at Eye of the Day are excited to present our finest merchandise to another part of the west coast. And after shipping to Nebraska, Florida, Georgia and Texas in the last month, our next pop-up could, well, pop up anywhere.
